Artists who explore cultures, carnivals and countries

Dear Art Educators,

You are probably all having a well earned holiday at the moment, however I thought I would put this out there.

 

I am trying to develop some resources for my Year 7 Painting students based on the theme Cultures, Carnivals and Countries. As an ex international school teacher, now working in Australia I really want to introduce my students to some vibrant and exciting artists who have explored this theme. I thought you might be able to help...

 

The project will aim to respond to the following online art program http://www.achievethruart.com....If you are in Aust, Singapore, Hong Kong or Thailand, you also might be interested as you can enter competitons, and become involved..

 

So basically any artists local or international that explore the theme cultures, carnivals and coutries.
