would love to do a trade. I can get my HLIB 1 class to finish off the year and send them on to you. What is your address? Kendra

For Lara - let's do a trading card swap after I have visited your school in Guangzhou on April 7? My Year 7 students will have intaglio prints based on a self portrait with their pet, and my Year 8 students will have digital postcards appropriating a Renaissance portrait for the 21st century. See which you think is most suitable!

Morgan, if you don't mind exchanging with a grade five classes, I can do an exchange with you. Also I just started an on line gallery to feature ATC from students, faculty and staff at our school. Check it out. Artist Trading Card Gallery

Grade Four Artist Trading Cards

My grade four students have been having a ball creating trading cards. I think they would love to trade with kids at another school .

My year 8 is doing a fruit cross section study painting and we are interested in swapping.  There are only 9 students in that class and they come from different countries (Korea, Israel, Indonesia, USA, Nepal).

I have a Year 8 (12 - 13 years old) who are starting work on a unit looking at postmodern appropriations of iconic renaissance portraits. They are using Photoshop CS4 to add their own face to their selected portrait, and making other changes to the artwork in order to challenge the past meaning/s of the work, and create a new meaning for a 21st century audience. They won't be finished these works until Easter but I thought they might be a good 'digital' trading card to swap with another school....alternatively we could print out postcard sized digital prints and the students could add some text explaining their intentions - anyone interested in a swap with Australian students?

My students are 6-18 years old. I teach the whole school and it is challenging.

what age levels do you have? I just received a package of cards from Debbi Bovio in Michigan. The students were so excited to see how they responded. They received our cards before the holiday break. I don't think digital cards would have the same impact as getting the real thing and holding it in your hand. But it is an idea.

I would like to try ATC after Chinese new year holiday. Anyone would like to schedule and swap with us? I would welcome you with open arms.
