Voicethread lets everyone join in the conversation and this is number one why I believe that it is relevant to us as educators. Here is a voicethread that let's us take part and share what a PLN like ararte, flickr, blogs, arted20, twitter etc does for us in our teaching practice.

Hi all, I am about to start to use Voicethreads with my IB class and with about 50 of my Year 10 (15yo) Photographic and Digital Media (PDM) students.
The PDM students and I will be looking for some outside interest in this Thread. They will be arguing a case for or against video art as a valid form of artist expression. I would like to share these with others if you would like to be part of these.
The other students will start to post work in their journey of IB 2 year course and will be discussing the ideas behind their works and the relationships to their body of work as they go. This will be a interesting long term project. Has anyone done this with their IB students?
Let me get them up and running and registered then I can share.
