dog
An art one student researched the work of Deborah Butterfield and was to respond inspired by what she learned. Se created a dog (an animal she loves) using recycled International Times and packing tape. The Times is a newspaper that both her mom and dad are writers for! The dog is named Henry after the founder of the Times.

Kendra- I love this. Last year in Italy I saw an installation of sculptures by Italian Sculptor Velasco Vitali. He created many of his pieces out of iron, tar and wire. You may have already mentioned it and It may be too late but your student may like to follow up on this website:-
