Art educators living, working or interested in Asia
A DVD on Andy Goldsworthy ("rivers and tides") introduces the students to site specific art. They do further research on other artists following, then explore two of our school campus' looking for features already present that they find noteworthy, and want others to also see. A plan is recorded (location, object, materials, idea). They can use found or low cost materials. If not "eco-friendly" then they have to dismantle the work after photos are taken. They are asked to Echo (work next to) or Accentuate (work on top of) to ensure that the site itself is a part of the art work (avoid "plop art")
