Using a Field Trip : Hampi

Gr 11 IB art students are required to join this weeklong field trip. In Bangalore they are exposed to contemporary Indian art, In Hampi the ruins of the 13-15 th. capitol city of a Hindu kingdom. Goal : to follow all aspects of the Development process ...from pre-trip research, to recording sites , sketching, art experiments and lessons on site, and winding up by creating a post trip art project which is put on exhibition for the entire school to visit...and ensures they have exposure to the art and culture of the region.
