Delicously Decadent acrylic paintings

The HS Art classes just completed their last projects of the year. We studied the beautifully composed paintings of Pop artist, Wayne Thiebaud and created our own food paintings. The students imitated the texture of the food using modeling paste on the canvas before adding the layers of paint so the food truly POPS out at the viewer. These paintings are full of energy and celebrate life through food.
