HI Geoff
Its not too difficult. Used as lot of emulsion paint and allowed to dry up first and then using ink, printing ink, acrylic, graphite powder, stencils, dry brush, dry rollers etc. Its more about texture than anything. Build up texture and apply dry colour.
Comment by Geoff Ballard on August 13, 2012 at 7:14pm Hey Fred-We met briefly at ISB this year---Love this (and the similar image before). Was thinking of doing some prints using massive overlays with my 8th graders this year. This almost looks like the sheet you use under the inking plate thats been used over and over again. Can you give me a bit of info on this project/technique?
Hope all is well in HK.
