Luise Guest said… Hi Lara, hope all goes well in Guangzhou, and that you received your package of our digital prints for your students! I also sent a package of materials that explain them - the program, units of work and assessment tasks, so I hope that you received everything and that your students enjoyed their postmodern postcards!
All the best

Luise Guest said… Hi Lara, I would love to visit you at your school on April 7 if that is still convenient? I am still trying to finalise times with the Fine Arts Academy, but I have the whole day in Guangzhou so perhaps if you let me know whether it would be better for you if I came in the morning or afternoon? My email is lguest@loreto.nsw.edu.au

Sue Eubank said… I taught the 3 yrs. old to 12 grade in Mexico, I know how that is, phew!
This year I am teaching 7-12, but this semsester is 9-12.
The seventh graders made trading cards last semster, but we never got it together for a swap.
Luise Guest said… Hi Lara - as soon as I have been able to determine a time for my meeting with Li Gongming I will be in touch so that we can work out a time to meet - I would certainly love to visit your school. My school, Loreto Kirribilli, is in Sydney so we are teaching the curriculum of the New South Wales Higher School Certificate rather than the IB. There are some similarities though! What ages are the students in your grades 1 - 4?

Luise Guest said… Hi Ms.Lara - thanks for your reply!
With my scholarship from the NSW government I am travelling to China in March and April. Unfortunately I will only be visiting Guangzhou for one day, on April 7! I am meeting Professor Li Gongming at the Academy of Fine Arts. If possible, though, I would be very interested to visit your school also. I will contact you when I know the time of my meeting with Li Gongming to see if a visit is convenient for you. Can you give me a few more details about your school, and the grades that you teach?
All the best
Luise
