"Hi all, Do you use A3 or A4 hard backed sketchbooks for the IWB? I'd like to use A3 but worried about loss of clarity in reading text when reducing from A3 to A4 for the digital submission. What is everyone using?"

What Excellent visual arts teaching looks like

From the NAEA a thorough look at good teaching practice. By the way Brian Reverman will be offering a workshop in Taipei on using the FTC palette mentioned in this paper. He'll be giving you some hands on opportunities to try it out yourself.

David Gran's Article on School Arts is well worth a read

David of Carrotrevolution fame and an Ararte member has published an article in the US magazine School Arts about the importance of connectivity in the classroom. It is well worth a read.. (and he does mention a collaboration that I have with a school in Maine! )

A great read about Chinese Contemporary Artists

Luisa Guest an ararte member is an Australian art educator who received a grant to interview Chinese Contemporary artists and art educators  teaching in China. Her blog is well worth a read. It covers her five week journey throughout China documenting visits into artist studios, well known art districts and international schools from Beijing to Hong Kong.
