Artist and political activist Ai Weiwei has been detained by Beijing authorities since April 3. Let's hope he's freed soon as international pressure is building for his release.

Art in the Habitats unit
We have just completed our IPC topic on Habitats. We have have been learning and sorting plants and animals into their habitats. In addition we have been learning about how humans adapt their homes to suit their habitat.
We learnt how to use Google Sketch up and designed our own homes. We used clay to create our house structures and learnt how to join clay together.…
