Great application to the technique Kendra. I am sure the structure would have provided a lot of fun for them and the variety of painting on the object would have made the dragon look completely different each time. I should look at this in Term 3 also. Thanks. Good practice promotes good practice, as Theo Mandziy told me today.

I want to tell you that this inspired me to do the same in my digital imaging class. The final lesson on lightpainting we invited in 8 four year olds and had my high school students show them how to paint with flashlights. It was a huge success! Here is a final collaborative lightpainting that now is hanging on our school director's board room!

Really happy it worked for you. I have another one in the works but I am working on the video for it at the moment.

No problem if you want to use it as a example.

Dear Nicholas,

I haven't stopped thinking about your idea since I watched your video and I would like to try something similar with our Kindergarten students in Shanghai.  Hope you don't mind if I use your idea.  I want to propose it to include the kindergarten section of our school with some older primary year students and use your video as an example of integrating technology with learning.  Hope you don't mind.

No problem. It has been part of a Unit of Inquiry in the PYP looking at the way light works.
